While recent internet rumours have linked Australian, Michael Katsidis to fighting UK boxer, Ricky Hatton who has been retired for 3 years, Aus-Boxing.com can reveal after speaking with UK sources, that the two former world champions won’t be fighting each other on November 24 in Manchester, England.
Katsidis told a local UK news site that he would consider a fight against Hatto, but Aus-Boxing has learned that Hatton is expected to announce his opponent in the coming weeks.
Katsidis was spotted ringside at a local Aussie promotion earlier this month, where IBO Super Featherweight champion Will Tomlinson called out his fellow countryman.
